As Lord Krishna descended his heavenly abode to greet his beloved devotees, his team of ‘Ladoo Gopals’ was ready to welcome him with immense pomp and utmost reverence. Our little munchkins attended the celebrations dressed up as Krishna and enjoyed doing activities based on the theme of Janmashtami.

Although virtual, we took the Janmashtami celebration a few notches higher with our art teacher, who curated a pyramid out of small human figures. He instructed students to gather around as per the model, with Krishna at the Zenith, poised to break the pot of butter.

Our students witnessed a skit that was put together by the teachers of BHIS. The story that they played out- depicted Krishna and his escapades to steal some butter. The celestial being- Lord Krishna taught us the virtue of unearthing solutions than focus on problems and this message has been and will be imbibed by the students of BHIS to soar to great heights like Krishna- literally!
