Our girls believe in giving a tough fight to the boys in bringing laurels home. Rightfully so, Myra Shahani from Grade 1 won the gold medal in the MSSA Judo competition held on December 7th, 2019 at the Dharavi Sports Complex, Sion.

At 18 kgs, Myra fought a 21 kg opponent and dominated the play. Her first bout was relentless for almost 10 minutes till her opponent surrendered to her tactful maneuvers. Way to go, Myra! Congratulations are in order to the parents and coaches, too.

We believe every girl should take a cue from Myra and learn some self-defense forms for better agility and good health.
