The Pragat Shikshan Sanstha Trust, which runs BHIS Andheri, is well-known for philanthropic activities. The latest initiative is the village adoption program which has been in the making for the past few months.

The school staff, along with our trustee Mr. Jitendra Dewoolkar, Nidhish Dewoolkar, Ms. Dipti Sawant visited the Tadvadi Zilla Parishad School, near Karjat on 13th August 2023.The students of the Zilla Parishad school had gathered together, and were eagerly looking forward to the activities.

The lead team distributed stationery kits, while the teachers imparted basic lessons. The accompanying team of doctors carried out health check-ups of the children. Medicines and basic hygiene kits were given out to the needy students.

The Trust has always focused on education and health care. This is the latest initiative to develop and build sustainable rural communities. This is also an initiative to reach out to the lesser privileged as part of social welfare.
