While learning about materials and changes in materials, the learners of Grade 1 were introduced to the terms- “Permanent-change and Temporary change.” To explain this change in detail, the students, along with their Science teachers conducted a flameless cooking activity on how to prepare Jelly- here the teacher explained how jelly powder turns into a permanent change by adding hot water to it. The liquid jelly when kept in the freezer, undergoes a temporary change.
