Excursions and field trips are recognized as an important part of learning, a shared social experience that provides the opportunity for children to encounter and explore new things in an authentic setting.
When a child sees, touches and smells historical relics and ancient artifacts, he becomes excited to learn about it.
Children are more likely to learn and explore on an Educational trip because their minds are relaxed and they aren't worried about the competitive classroom seating. Educational trips are considered as an excellent teaching tool as it canters over one learning style.
During the visit, students write all the details of their impressions in a book and, at the end of the trip, they are assessed based on their presentations of all that they have learned. Thus, every educational trip comes across as an in-depth learning experience for students. Our school conducts Trekking, Nature trails, and Heritage site seeing for active learning of the concepts. Visits to food processing units such as Mc Donald's and Cheese Factory have also been conducted by our school.
Children also attend informative workshops such as Intellectual Property where they get to learn about patents, copyright, and trademarks.
All Field Trips will begin and end at the school. We request that parents arrange to have their children at school to begin the Field Trip / Educational Excursion and the Field Trip will not officially end until all students have returned with their teacher to the school. Parents have arrange to pick up their children picked up from the school at the end of the Field Trip / Educational Excursion. For Domestic trips, airport details of the drop off and pick up will be given to the parents.
