I visited India in 1987 from my place of privilege and comfort of Australia. What I experienced, as a teacher in an Indian classroom, was the 'wholesale robbery' of the childhood of children.
This got me determined to change the way things worked. My family had complete conviction behind my intent to make an effort to follow my belief in my vision. In addition to this, my parents always gave my brothers and I the belief that we could choose to be and aspire to achieve, anything our hearts and minds desired. I aligned with passionately committed individuals to actualise a vision of joyful, meaningful, effective learning for the children of India.
Our educational philosophy ignites this same belief in our children, giving them the confidence that they can be whoever they want to be, and they can achieve whatever they aspire to achieve.
