At BHIS Andheri, we care about making ethical, insightful citizens of tomorrow. We believe that if sustainability is ingrained in their childhood, it is likely to manifest in their futures. On the occasion of Earth Day on Sunday, leaders across India and the world voiced solidarity over protection and preservation of the planet, with emphasis on reduction of plastic use and adopting a sustainable lifestyle. At BHIS Andheri, Earth Day was of particular significance. Students were acquainted with the idea of a carbon footprint and the tendency to take plastic for granted. Moreover, representatives from Sony BBC Earth gave students insight into the condition of the planet and urged them to be sensitive to their environment.
