Miss Usha’s Taekwondo Achievement

‘Fast as lightening, with expert timing.’ this aptly describes the moves associated with the world of Taekwondo. An ancient Korean art that has gained immense popularity among students all over the world. One such expert of the art is Miss Usha Dhamanaskar whose repertoire boasts of very many gold medals and other accolades. Miss Usha, alongside other seasoned Taekwondo experts of India had the immense pleasure and honour of coaching and accompanying the best ‘Hak Saengs’ and ‘Jejas’ to Vietnam and represent India at the ‘Asian Cadet and Junior Taekwondo Poomsae and Kyorugi Championship’ held from August 22nd to 27th, 2022. Here’s a list of medals and tributes that Miss Usha and her team of coaches came home with and were welcomed with open arms! -Cadets and Junior Poomase 13 Players – 1 Bronze medal, 1 Best Fighting Spirit Award

-Para (Para-athletes – people with a disability as a Para sport.) 8 athletes- 2 Bronze

Medal, 1 Best Fighting Spirt Award

– Cadets (under 14) 16 Athletes – 1 Silver Medal and 1 Bronze Medal

– Junior (under 17) 19 athletes. – 3 Bronze medal. Kudos Miss Usha, you have made us teary-eyed with joy and pride!
