“Overpower. Overtake. Overcome.”- Serena Williams. The day that every sports enthusiast always waits for dawned on Saturday the 21st of January. Welcome to the Annual Sports Meet of BHIS Andheri, which saw cheers, tears, victory, defeat, minor mishaps but a lot of revelry and splendid team spirit! After two whole years, our students could go all out and give their hundred percent to prove their mettle as individuals and in a group, especially at events such as Tug of War, which demanded exuberant team work and they lived up to that! There was a ring display by our Grades 1 and 2, Yoga Display with amazing synchronisation by Grades 3 and 4 and our secondary section kept the goosebumps coming with dancing to the beats of the Nasik dhol and doing the lezim dance. It was a treat to the eyes with children dressed in saffron and showed super coordination with their group to end the event on a massive crescendo! At the end of it, we had all smiling faces tinged with sadness as the event came to an end! See you next year!
