When we think of our beautiful planet Earth we always imagine a blue ball as most of it is covered with water. The question is ‘what lies under?’ Our students of grade 3 got the answer to this question with the activity they performed recently. They built the interiors of the planet with colourful clay where each colour represented a different layer of the Earth. This activity helped students visualise the interiors and associate colours with every layer according to its formation and composition.
