It gives us immense joy to announce that our #BHISAndheri students have made us proud at the 15th Open District Taekwondo Championship. It was organized by The Gurukul Taekwondo Academy at Kandivali on January 27, 2019, and BHIS Andheri students rocked the scoreboard.

Our girls, Safa Khan, and Rimsha Shah bagged the gold and silver in Poomsae which is a definite pattern of defense-and-attack motions.

Our girls excelled in Kyorugi, too, where you are required to devise your moves and respond by assessing your opponent’s strength. Rimsha Shah and Safa Khan bagged the silver medal each while Shifa Khan brought home the bronze.

Not to be left behind, Devansh Mishra bagged the bronze in the boys Kyorugi, too. All in all, a fabulous feat! All credit to our hardworking students, their coaches, and their parents for being the wind beneath their wings. Well done, kids. Rise and shine. We are right here to applaud your success.
